The event is a catalyst for viral transformation, gathering everyone across the world to drive sustainable change. The team at LDIW, World Clean Up Ambassadors and patrons all work to four core values of positivity, inclusivity, responsibility, and transparency to encourage their powerful message.

Kingfisher understands the importance of reducing our impact on the world, so we have strict waste management procedures in place including ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental Management and we work with companies such as Lumicom for safe disposal of our WEEE waste.

We’ve also implemented new ways to reduce our plastic usage across our packaging through the use of fully recyclable materials. We’ve also reduced up to 95% of plastics across our product range ensuring we aren’t contributing to the world's mismanaged waste but also promoting effective recycling.

A hot topic in the industry, Circular Economy is the best method to reduce carbon, excessive waste and increase sustainability across your site. Kingfisher has incorporated this method into our design philosophy across products within our range and even have our very own Circular Economy luminaire – CIRECO.
